| dralin12-16-04, 12:57 AM | Would a Half-dragon/Half-Elf be able to take paragon levels in both half-dragon and half-elf or just one or the other? |
| Braids12-16-04, 01:18 AM | I guess you could, by the rules...but I, as a DM, would never allow more than one Paragon class unless there was a good flavor reason. If a person could tell me why they would be the paragon of both Half-Elves and Half-Dragons, then ok. [That goes for Half-Elf, Half-Dragon and Human too.] |
| Lord Schpungus12-17-04, 12:48 PM | Half-Dragon does not have Divided Ancestry, the ability that lets you take another paragon class. Half-elf specifically says you can only take Human or Elf paragon with your Divided Ancestry ability. So I would say no. You're more half dragon than anything else. |
| Planeshifter Ixiaul12-17-04, 09:50 PM | this raises a question for me... what would the level adjustment be a for a paragon creature?! it's gotta be huge. |

Yes, however, if a person was a Half-Elf, took the Half-Elf Paragon class, then the Elf/Human Paragon, then became a half-Dragon and took the Half-Dragon paragon class, then you wouldn't be violating the rules...IIRC. I wouldn't allow it, but I'm pretty sure that if you found the "right" DM, you could get it done... this raises a question for me... what would the level adjustment be a for a paragon creature?! it's gotta be huge +12 |
