I present to you rules on how to play a kid :D

This could be used in a campaign based on the Little Rascals or other fun kids movies and shows. I personally used this system for a very disturbed necromancer who raised zombie children (Resident Evil, anyone?) and vampire spawn children (Ewww).

........................................ .........Bard............Cleric
...............................Barbarian ...Fighter..........Druid
.................................Rogue.. ....Paladin..........Monk
...............Child*........Sorcerer..R anger***....Wizard***
Human:...5 years.......+1d3........+1d4............ +2d4
Dwarf:.....13 years.....+3d4........+5d4............+7 d4
Elf:..........36 years.....+4d4........+6d4...........+10 d4
Gnome:...13 years.....+4d4........+6d4............+9 d4
Half-elf:...6 years.......+1d4........+2d4...........+ 3d4
Half-orc:..4 years.......+1d3........+1d4...........+ 2d4
Halfling:...6 years......+2d3........+3d4............+ 4d4

...............Young Adult**
Human:...10 years
Dwarf:.....26 years
Elf:..........73 years
Gnome:...26 years
Half-elf:...13 years
Half-orc:...9 years
Halfling:...13 years

* Children have -3 to all ability scores.
** Young Adults have -3 to Strength and -1 to all other ability scores. Penalties are cumulative (they stack).
*** In these classes some races might simply advance to the next age category, reflecting that they have to learn all that "stuff."

HD are cut in half for monster children and multiplied by 0.75 for young adult monsters. Size categories usually decrease by 1 (DM's call). CR is -1 for young adults and -3 for children. LA is racial -3 for a child (a hobgoblin child would have a LA of -2) and -1 for a young adult.

P.S. If anyone could tell me how to paste a table properly, please do, because this mess... :ahem: :nonono:

I don't know about the penalty to con, you ever try to keep up with a kid? :P

They are ALL OVER THE PLACE.

Maybe so... but they are still physically weak. But they can still run like hell for a long time. Looks like we got ourselves a pickle

Maybe give them the Endurance feat?

Being physically weak would relate to strength, not constitution. But, kids can't hold their liquor all that well, so I'm not sure...

But holding your liquor has just as much to do with weight and metabolism as it does constitution.
