Prestige Core Classes [Archive] - Wizards Community

11-01-04, 11:26 AM		I'm designing a campaign using the generic classes variant and want to add the prestige core classes from UA as an option. Does anyone think this isn't a good idea and does anyone have any suggestions for other core classes that would make good PrCs (and perhaps guidelines for balance when creating them)? I figure the monk and druid are good candidates, as both could be seen as groups that would require prior life experience or might be a little elite.

If I allow the Ranger PrC, should I disallow the favored enemy feat?

Any feedback is apreciated.

11-01-04, 03:34 PM		If you are going to use generic classes, then Druid is a natural for prestige core class. Make the requirements Ranks in Knowledge(Nature); able to cast second level spells; a special requirement of having defended a natural feature from destruction.
