Question about Desert Half-Orcs [Archive] - Wizards Community

08-04-04, 01:58 AM In the Unearthed Arcana about Desert Half orcs it says

These traits are in addition to the standard Half-orc traits yadda yadda

Below that it says +2con -2int, The desert half orcs are more lean and less muscular than its other brothers (something to that effect)

Does this mean that the Desert Half orc gets +2str +2con -4int -2cha?

08-04-04, 08:00 AM I think the standard half-orc traits is stuff like their darkvision, not ability modifiers.

08-04-04, 05:39 PM I take it to mean that the +2 Con, -2 Int replaces the standard half-orc stat mods. So you would get no Str bonus, and no Cha penalty. Its like the Gold Dwarf in FR, you get +2 Con, -2 Dex instead of +2 Con, -2 Cha.
