Hi! I'm playing a diviner specialist wizard and picked up that variant from UE which gets the presciense ability instead of bonus divination spells/spell level. prescience(ex) : once a day and one more time after every 5 CLASS level you have you can add your inteligence modifier as an insight bonus to any attack roll, ability check, level check, skill check, saving throw you make. For this you don't gain bonus divination spells. (or the price is that You have to have a prohibited school--it's the same--) My questions: -what do you think? Is this variant under or overpowered? -technical Q: you get this ability after your class levels, but what happens when you take a prestige class? You still don't get the bonus spells but your wizard class levels doesn't increase further so you don't get the presciense for them also. Or -maybe- that class level means "diviner class levels"? this would be logical and balanced. My Dm uses this option. (by the way it's a general mistake in these variants...)
