Question on Gelstat [Archive] - Wizards Community

11-12-05, 09:45 AM What is the best gelstat build within The PHB and Expanded Psionics. I was thinking Ranger/Rogue or the Holy Warrior of Light Paladin/Cleric. I havent really been it at as long as some of you. Or possibly Fighter/Psychic Warrior.

Do you get both sides of feat progression. For the Fighter Psychic Warrior you get both sets of bonus feats then the normal feats or the bonus feats and twice the normal feats.
Example
Level 1
Fighter Bonus Feat
Psychic Warrior Bonus Feat
Level 1 Feat Psychic Warrior side
Level 1 Feat Fighter side
Human Bonus Feat

Level 1 Fighter bonus feat
Level 1 Psywar bonus feat
Level 1 character feat
Bonus Human feat

for a total of 4 feats. 6 if you take two flaws.

Ranger/Rogue is not a great gestalt, as the two classes overlap a lot. Although you would be a pretty good damage machine, Barbarian/Rogue would be better. Also Druid/Rogue or Paladin/Favored Soul are good choices.
