In the Unearthed Arcana it is said that aquatic elves would have - the general aquatic racial traits (aquatic subtype, swim speed, aquan as a bonus language) - the elf racial traits - and the aquatic elf traits (MM) but no gills I`m not sure what that - especially the last one - means exactly. For example, does this variant gets +2 DEX, -2 CON or +2 DEX, -2 INT? A little bit, it seems to me that these aquatic elves are efffectively just the ones presented in the Monster Manual but without gills. Is this right?
