| The Cosmic Goose02-27-04, 10:13 PM | I love the new spellpoint system. but i'd alos like to preserve the usefulness of the Sorcerer class. sence the main point of the sorcerer was the ability to cast spontainiousely (sp?) thier kinda left hanging with the SP system sence everyone can do that now. a few ideas i had was to give them for spells-known (X 1.5 in fact) and adding an additional spell-slot per level. though these seem to be missing something. any segestions |

I suggested an alternative in another thread: Alternative SP system (http://boards1.wizards.com/showthread.php?s=&threadid=190494) The sorceror still has a certain advantage in that he *knows* more spells at any given time than a wizard. At 20th level, a wizard can have up to 4 spells from each level prepared, but a sorceror will have 6. He also gets more SP than a wizard. |

There are a couple of suggestions as to how to do that here http://boards1.wizards.com/showthread.php?s=&threadid=185062&perpage=30&pagenumber=2 Mine is a bit more accurate, but Raishin's is simpler and makes more sense. |
