Quick Generics Question [Archive] - Wizards Community

09-17-04, 03:30 PM When you take the Sneak Attack generic feats, do those stack? Or does Improved Sneak replace Sneak Attack and then Greater Sneak replace Improved Sneak?

So taking Sneak Attack twice wouldn't be wise, but Sneak Attack and Improved Sneak Attack would stack just fine. It fits in with the general progression of the Rogue class, just not spread out through the levels.

As far as I know, though, the rules never say one way or the other. Use common sense. :)

Well common sense would dictate that Sneak would stack with Improved and then Greater would stack on that. After all, if that didn't happen, high level generics would have ridiculously low SA. But I just wanted to check. Thanks.

All damages stack like in all occurences of Sneak Attack in all classes (in fact, read the exact wording on the Sneack attack feats page 76 of UA, and you'll see that there's little to interpret)

No feat can be taken more than once unless specified (and in this case it is not)
