Racial Paragon questions [Archive] - Wizards Community

11-09-05, 02:55 PM Okay under descriptions of Racial Paragons it says you can take the class even at 1st level, in which case you receive 4 times the number of skill points gained at each succeeding level.
Okay now what the heck does that mean?

Do I get at 1st level my Int bonus +4(human paragon) X4 and then at 2nd INT+4 X4 again and then again at 3rd?
What happens after 3rd level paragon? Does it accrue at normal rate?

11-09-05, 03:17 PM It means it is handled the same as every other class. You get four times the normal skill points at first level and normal skill points at every other level.

11-09-05, 09:22 PM Here's a new twist on things: is a racial Paragon level, being tied completely to race concept, more like a racial HD advancement or more like a character level? If it's more like a racial HD advancement it would mean that characters could theoreticaly have 23 non-epic levels before taking into account their ECL for such examples as Drow or Tiefling Paragon.
