I am wondering, one of the multiclassing rules of a monk is that once you leave the class (level up in another class) you may never return. Does this apply to racial paragon levels from Unearthed Arcana 3.5? The reason behind this is one of my players is wanting his human monk 4/human paragon 3 to take his next level in monk... |

I would say yes. However, by the rules, paragon class levels get treated like any other level (besides experience penalties for multiclassing). |

(in that case, i'd scrap the feats). just make sure the multiclassing is for a character concept, not just to pick up a couple of spiffy monk powers. a monk 4/sorcerer 4 is powerful, but not broken. a monk 2/paladin 6 on the other hand is a rampaging juggernaut of invulnerability. (evasion + divine grace = never having to worry about fireballs). |
