I think it is very logical to have a spellcasting system that causes a character to rcover in stamina before they decide to cast the same spell or a spell from the same school. then it will take them time to replensh that build up of stamina and magic power. so a scorcerer dose not telleport in to the room where the evil badguy is, cast fireball and killhim. Then telleport out n th same round. I mean even metamagics can be put in to this system: you just make them wait a double amoun t of time to re loaded the spell. And if they like to use multiple metamagics: double the doubled amount of time to wait. |

I took the system a step further and introduced modfiers by class so that some classes can recharge faster and some slower. The system workd just fine for me. Most people that play casters often think that casters are supposed to be all powerful but in truth its all in the strategy. |

But I like that idea, slower or faster. Is it like scorcers recharge faster then rangers becouse their class features the mainlie for spell casting, unlike the ranger whos specilitie is well to a point melee? |
