The rules on Reducing Level Adjustments on pp 18-9 of Unearthed Arcana deal with reducing the level adjustments of racial templates or racial level modifiers that a character has at level 1. If a character acquires Lycanthropy during game play, say at level 5, is the level adjustment from the Lycanthrope template eligible for reduction under these rules, and if so, when would the character be able to start paying the XP costs to reduce the level adjustment?
