| KMFDM03-29-04, 10:32 PM | ok got UA this weekend and I love it! Here's a variant of the Druid: Combine the Druidic Avenger and the other "unnamed variant": Which would create this: Lose: Armor and Shield Proficiency, wildshape, Animal Companion, Spontaneous Casting Penalties: Wild Empathy -4, Gain: Fast Movement, Rage, Tireless Rage (17th), Bonus to AC as Monk, Favored Enemy (as Ranger), Swift Tack (as Ranger), Track Pretty cool seeing a barechested savage raging and jumping wildly out of the jungle. Though Im tempted to remove Spells all together and give him Fighter BAB. SO what do U think? |
| Mr. VanderMeer03-30-04, 05:31 AM | Though Im tempted to remove Spells all together and give him Fighter BAB. Isn't it better to create a variant Barbarian? Remove armor proficiency and add Track or the bonus AC? |
| Part-Human203-30-04, 09:16 AM | I also noticed they worked together. And it's perfect for a Werebear PC I was working on. |
| KMFDM03-30-04, 11:29 AM | Well the combination of unarmored and rage is what I'm looking for and adding all that to the Barbarian would be difficult, he just doesnt have much to take out from. But I am studying the Ranger which could be more suitable if we want a Savage w/o spellcasting (or limited). So who thinks the savage would have spells?? Limited Spells? Or none at all? If we convert the Ranger to Savage Lets remove Wild Empathy, Combat Styles, Endurance, Animal Companion, and Hide in Plain Sight, then maybe his spells. Then we add Rage (as Barb), Unarmored (as monk), Fast Movement, Favored Enemy (as Ranger), Swift Tack (as Ranger), Track, and lastly Tireless Rage (17th lvl). For skills we remove Concentration, Knowledge (all except Nature) Maybe I will write up a quick format lvl by lvl some time today. |
