The only problem I have found to be a show stopper is that is severly frontloads the rogue class. under this system, the first level in rogue is massivly actractive to make your character "skilled" but levels after that grant somewhat anemic benefits compared to, say, Fighter/Ranger/Barbarian/Monk/etc. It reminds me of the front-loaded 3.0 ranger. Any suggestions? My off the top of my head fix that you guys can support, deliberate about, or ignore to offer your own fixes is to make rogue a prestige class that requires a +1BAB and 4 ranks in any 4 skills. Also perhaps granting the class the skill knowledge feat as a bonus once every three levels. Thoughts?-Ryan |
