I've been thinking about size changing and its effects, specially Giant Size and Minute Form spells from "Complete Arcane". First of all, shouldn't a creature have some type of advantage when fighting other creature much smaller than it? I mean, imagine that a Wu-jen using Giant Size to become Colossal is facing a halfling. Then he simply wants to crush the halfling underfoot. Should it be considered simply an unarmed attack? Or the same Wu-jen wants to pick up the halfling. Should it be treated as a normal grapple? Then, this second thought: It doesn't say that a character using Giant Size or Minute Form change their speed. This also seems strange to me. First, a 72 ft. humanoid (Giant Size) would cover great distances with a simple step, why whould its speed stay the same. Then, a humanoid 3 inches tall (Minute Form) moving 30 ft. in one turn is hard to believe. Any thoughts?
