Skill Variant Mistake in UA? [Archive] - Wizards Community

04-24-07, 09:21 AM I can't say if it's a mistake or not, but I think you can argue that in order to keep your other skills up to their max, you are likely facing cross class penalties. It's obviously not a perfect system, just a generalization. Take the fact that if you take a rogue and go fighter, you get an extra class skill and get to keep all your rogue skills at max. Everyone is taking first level rogue in this system.
