I'm tossing around a gestalt build of wiz 5/ arcane trickster 10/ other 5 on one side and just ninja

Ninjas get +1d6 sneak attack every odd level (1, 3, 5 and so on) As does arcane trickster, but the trickster would start on an even level (six). I know that abilities overlap, but what would happen with this? would i just use the Ninja's sneak attack progression, or would both kick in since it's staggered. Giving me 15d6 sneak at level 20 (18d6 if i took 5 levels of rogue).

just wanting some clarification...

Well, unfortunately for those of us who like to roll massive amounts of dice, the Gestalt rules clearly state that in the case of identical class features granted by one or more classes/PrC, you simply take the fastest advancement or count the highest level that grants you the ability. It also states that you should not be allowed to combine two PrC at any level (but combining one regular class and core class is acceptable).
