Bloodlines verus Paragons. In the setting there are 2 aspects one being a sub-race and one being a natural abilite that I thing these aspects of UA would work very well for. The First being the Race known as mutants (think X-men), are born with supernatural abilites that I envision improving as the character advances. Now Blood lines would seem to fit as they would let the character start out without a LA and build there natural power thought a mutant blood-line but I feel blood-lines maybe too weak to represent those mutants with extreme powers like Magneto, Professor X, Blink or Mimic. They are the major reason I'm thinking about Paragons instead althought a feel that maybe a bit much whats your take. The Other concept which at the moment is unnamed thought I envision resembling Techniques from the Phantasy Star series would be open to all races and would allow them to gain Psionic powers (up to level 4), power points and a few bonus feats. Thought I would really like to use a Blood-line like advancement to represent this I don't know if it would work as it seems more powerful then other blood-lines but at the same time I really can't justifie a paragon class as I don't see this advancement improving HD, BAB or saves. Ideas and help
