| Wizardman05-23-04, 07:01 PM | Forgive me if I completely missed this in the book, or if it has been discussed here- it's all too possible- but what happens when a wizard in the spell point system takes the Spell Mastery feat? Is he/she counted as knowing those spells on top of the daily memorized spells, or do they take up permanent slots? Or is the feat automatically disallowed? |
| Marcus Majarra05-24-04, 01:55 AM | Um, spell points are just a way for the wizard/sorceror to reassign his spells cast, much like a psionic character uses his powers according to the power's cost, and not a fixed power slot. Spell Mastery allows a wizard to prepare a spell without having it in his spellbook. That means that a wizard can always prepare spells for which he has Spell Mastery. The two aren't even related. |
