Spell points remodeled after psionic power point system [Archive] - Wizards Community

12-23-06, 11:44 PM I was wondering has anyone reworked the spell point system from Unearthed Arcana to work like the power point system from the Expanded Psionics Handbook.

I like the idea of the spell point system, however I feel the with the self scaling nature of magic is somewhat a balance problem.

So I was wondering if anyone has seen/used the power point system from psionics including the augmentation.

Does anyonly think that using this system would mean a need to change in the metamagic system to go with it or could it be used normally?

Augmentation follows the current magic system, except that it has a cost.

Metamagic really requires no changes.
