Angelion 05-13-04, 03:28 PM	Described on p.162 in the Unearthed arcana are the Legendary Weapon rule, included with the spell scion prestige class. I need some help with this right now... one of my players has come across a powerfull magical staff, intelligent. Now, as you gain levels as a spell scion, your legendary weapon improves. Now, I agreed to convert it into an epic prestige class instead, as he's very close to level 21. So, it will gain a bonus feat every 4th level, the same Epic Attack Bonus progresion and the same saves as all the other epic classes. The bigest problem is however, the staff. I need to create the staff, but I simply cant figure out what abilities to put in it. Now, I would realy apriciate some help, since I got the game tomorow, and need to fix it. I can tell you some background and general idea of the staff. It was called the Masterstaf, created and used by a powerfull wizard who ruled a great empire. By his death, several fought for the power of the staff, since the one held it would controll the empire. But, as more fought for the power, the empire was shattered and after a while the staff and the old empire was forgotten. The main idea with the staff is 1. That it holds powerfull intelligent powers and enchantments, theese I will fix myself 2. It's main element is electricity 3. It posses enchantment powers and 4. It posses teleportation and planar traveling powers. I was thinking as a level 10 ability it would be the keys to a Demi Plane(since none of the previous bearer except the creator was powerfull enough to use this plane, it's pretty untouched). But I havn't figured out what it can do from level 0-9. I would realy apriciate some ideas, or a complete modell. Remember, since it has been converted to an epic prestige class, the abilities it posseses must be more powerfull then the examples ones, for example instead of starting at +1/+1 it will start as +3/+3 and will raise in enchantment once per 3rd level.
