Hello!

I was going through UA's Gestalt rules, but I had some doubts they didn't answer. Could you take a dual level in, say, divine PrC/cleric or spellcasting Paragon/spellcaster?

I mean, they wouldn't stack for that level, right? Otherwise you get insanely powerful spellcaster (Imagine a low level character casting Raise Dead!).

I'd home rule against it, but I wanted to know if there was any official statement.

When you take 2 classes at a given level, you only gain the better ability from each class.

If the PrC grants you +1 spellcaster level, and the level of cleric grants you +1 spellcaster level, you get +1 spellcaster level, total.

Understandable. Thanks! :D
