| Paul Hopebringer08-08-05, 08:09 AM | I like them. There need to be more!!! :D |
| Eikos08-08-05, 08:14 PM | Here's the thing. I'm trying to develop a humanoid race that gets one or two spelltouched feats at the time of creation, randomly determined by rolling a d12. Two seems potentially too powerful and one seems not powerful enough to make it appealing enough for the players. I want to amke it a unique, attractive choice. |
| Paul Hopebringer08-09-05, 11:55 AM | Alright, easy enough fix. Either two random or one that you can choose. Maybe even two that you can choose... Random feats isn't... just no... sorry. If you feel like you'de like them to have two, but you feel it is overpowered, just give them a stat penalty or something easy like that. |
| Yabanjin08-09-05, 09:41 PM | Feats are expensive - spending one is not always easy. The concept behind the spelltouched effects seem (to me) to indicate you've been hit with a spell once or several times and it's warped you somehow.... It's a magic world, anything can happen. As far as I'm concerned. It's not overpowered when it effects all the players and npcs. You want a race with spell touched feats - fine - it should effect everyone. It should also increase their ECL. However, if all creatures in your gaming world have a spelltouched feat or two, then it wouldn't be necessary - it would be balanced.... |
