| deafbymetal07-08-04, 10:56 PM | Has anyone out there tried making up variant lists? I mentioned it to my DM when we all first got the book, and he has not had the time to try making one up for my Cleric. I really don't have the time to do all that, nor the Monster Manuals to work from. If anyone here has the spare time, I've got a dwarven Cleric of Clangeddin, domains Dwarf and War, in the FR. I can't pay you, but you will have my thanks (not that it will pay any bills, but you'll have that nice warm feeling for helping someone who is too lazy to help themselves and claims to be real busy as an excuse :smirk: ) |

Are you going to be allowed several different creatures at each monster summoning level, or are you just looking for one 'signature' creature at each level? Will your DM allow the use of templates from the different WOTC source books? Is there something specific in your characters background that will help define the variant summoning list? What's the character's alignment? A list of appropriate creatures could be posted, but you'll still have to do some prep work in working out the creature stats to bring to your game sessions, or else you will really bog down play. |
| deafbymetal07-16-04, 11:51 AM | My character is an 8th lvl LG Cleric of Clangeddin, 6th lvl fighter, 4th lvl Runecaster. He is from Citadel Adbar in the Forgotten Realms. His Domains are Dwarf and War, has a strong sense of morality and Dwarven culture, and is skilled in both martial combat and crafting weapons and armor. My DM would use any sourcebooks out there, both WoTC and other publishers. He has just about any books that have been printed. He said I could use different creatures per summoning level, so I would like a variety to choose from depending on circumstance. Any list provided would be helpful, I can get the stats from my DM. I'm surprised no one else has made alternate lists, as the ones in the spell description are kind of limiting. |
