| Stryfe_Raven03-06-07, 02:54 PM | I know this may be a stupid question but when a rogue gives up his sneak attack to gain the fighters bonus feats do they only gain the bonus feats on the level they would normally get the sneak attack or do they gain them at the same levels a fighter does ? Would this variation also work for rogue variations which gain sneak attack variations such as the ninja or scout or because there sneak attack is weaker would it be unbalanced ? |
| CaoSlayer03-06-07, 04:09 PM | Like a fighter, means like a fighter, levels 1,2,4 and such. umm, sudden strike is obviously worse than sneak attack so the ninja would have to leave another class feature... I see scout skirmish balanced compared with sneak attack. By the way, I dont recomend to use the variant unless you are playing a ranged rogue since rogues lacks the bab for hitting stuff like a fighter and the armor and hp for tanking like a fighter. The variant is useful for ranged rogues because ranged weapons dont flanks so is very hard to pull a sneak attack. |
