Initiator Level: A hexblade's Initiator level is equal to his hexblade level. Maneuvers Known: A hexblade learns 2 maneuvers known at level 4, and learns one extra manuver at levels 5, 9, 12, 14, 16, 18, and 20 (9 total). The manuvers a hexblade knows can be taken from the Setting Sun, Shadow Hand, or Tiger Claw disciplines. At each level he learns a new maneuver, a hexblade can switch out one known maneuver for another maneuver whose pre-requisites he meets. He can not swap maneuvers in a way that would cause him to no longer meet the pre-requisites of another maneuver. Maneuvers Readied: A hexblade can ready 1 maneuver at level 4, and can ready one more maneuver at levels 5, 13, and 19. If a hexblade does not use any maneuver during his turn, he may use a full round action to center and relax his body and mind. At the start of the hexblade's next turn after doing this, all of his maneuvers are refreshed. Stances Known: A hexblade learns his first stance at level 4, his second at level 11, and his third at level 20. The stances a hexblade knows can be taken from the Setting Sun, Shadow Hand, or Tiger Claw disciplines. |
| Gideon_Gideonson03-10-07, 10:08 AM | Eh...don't really like it. Hexblade always seemed darker to me...that's why I swapped out spells for Invocations. Seemed to work well, and made him different from every other gish type. Hate to say it, but this just doesn't seem to fit the Hexblade for me. Also, why Setting Sun and Tiger Claw? |
| taylors00503-10-07, 07:29 PM | the first sentence of the setting sun told me so tiger claw WTf was i thinking but i am interested in your invocation variant |
