| Lady Fierna03-22-04, 09:30 PM | As for non ground Arcana a certain thing where I purchase is the best books for the dragon and the underground prison, (as for runner, FRCS and DLCS it is tied). It is strict quality of the material WotC should release this always. This book shows the fact that 3.E/3.5 it is attached to selection not to lie. As for me WotC (and the other company, as for that, the metamagic part of a certain class it is added, similar to all recent products which help net of the deformation of UA where those products new class dignity edition (like hexblade), and for general class like deformation of FEATure of new class have been attached, it is OGL) strengthening the thing net which is made it can add to all new products, you propose. How you think? |
| NorthSaber03-22-04, 09:54 PM | I think Babelfish leaves something to be desired... In other words, I couldn't really understand what you were trying to say. I got that you were saying Unearthed Arcana is a good book and you'd like to see more like it, and I completely agree. |
| Hengwrt Ellesmere03-22-04, 10:08 PM | Post in your native language, and maybe someone here can translate for you. |
| Wuntvore03-23-04, 01:58 AM | and please shorten your signature page. seeing it once or twice is cool but having encountered it for about the 20th time not so cool. |
| Pystian03-23-04, 06:03 AM | Wuntvore, I think you can shorten his signature on your screen in your member options thingy. I had trouble deciphering the script as well. Below is my best shot, though I can't guarantee any level of accuracy. "Candy you can read Unearthed Arcana is a choice piece o' meat, but Draconomicon and Underdark pleased me like a belly rub (and the FR and DL campaign settings weren't exactly yesterday's bread loaf). The only thing I wish for when I rub my genie bottle is that WotC would serve me cream this sweet all day long. UA shows D&D is flexible like a Chinese contortionist. At this rate (and 3rd-party companies, ... blah blah... here I really get lost... ...blah blah... something about product conformity minimalizing the difficulty of the utilization of the noncompulsory rules in UA...) WotC will be handing out only roughless diamonds. Am I right?" |

The last part is saying that WotC (and other companies, since UA is OGL) should create web enhancements for all of it's recent and upcoming products (when they come out) fitting the new features for those products to variants presented in UA. Metamagic components should be added to new spells, variant forms of new classes should be added, new bloodlines should be created for new types of monsters, new class FEATures should be made accessable for the generic classes (and in some cases, spell point numbers should be added). What do you think? In dull, readable English, Lord Belial |
| Pystian03-23-04, 08:38 AM | I can't believe I didn't figure out that "The Dragon and the Underground Prison" is Dungeons and Dragons. Sheesh. Lady Fierna, what program are you using now? Is a friend helping you? What is your native language? Babblefish might work better if you used really simple sentences. |
| sciborg203-23-04, 10:28 PM | I can't believe I was going to launch into a defense of how your english was rather commendable given the language barrier. Though the Family Guy quotes did seem a bit odd....ok, this is like that girl who convinced she was British for about a month when I got to college, though she was from good old NJ.....and that time someone sold me a bridge.... |
| Deamoclese03-24-04, 04:59 PM | I reported Lady Fierna to the moderator as a spammer -- I have seem multiple posts by her throughout the forum where she uses this nonsensical Babblefish to annoy people with her unintelligable posts --- the fact is she speaks perfectly fluent english (as her later posts prove) but is simply posting in this garbled mess just to annoy people -- -that is equivalent to spamming. |
| sciborg203-25-04, 01:48 AM | ^^^half-agree with you, the other half thinks it's a joke in good taste. But overkill is the bane of the trickster gods... |

Oh, come on... didn't you see the later posts were actually made by her father, Belial? "I am regrettable... I used the fish whose Babel is splendid... " Priceless. |
| Lady Fierna03-26-04, 08:21 AM | Please notice that this thread is not called "Gripe at Lord Belial for having his own posting style." This thread was created to present an idea: Official (or unofficial, gamer-made) enhancements to make new rules tie in with variants provided in Unearthed Arcana would be great. We could have metamagic components for the new spells, spell point progressions for new classes (especially for the ones that don't fall into the three patterns provided in UA), variants of new classes, class FEATures for generic classes based on new classes, etc... |

UA deserves a monthly feature just as much as savage species or the psionics handbook... -edit- the sig was a little long though....good to see you cleaned that up... |
