I'm sure the Cleric can take feats for such abilities (probably in some supplement I don't own), but what if a cleric could try and turn a cleric of an opposed alignment? The thought of a turning dual seems awesome to me, but I'm not sure how it would work... Would it just be an opposed charisma check? Should it cost a feat? Would there be more than one stage to it (Perhaps, if you lost one battle, you could spend another turn attempt to get back into the fight)? Thanks! |

One use a turning attempt to cut off the divine connection of a opposing aligned cleric with 30 feet.. Both make opposed level checks adding their Charisma modifier. The loser them is cut off from their spell caster ability for 1 round plus one round for every 5 that the other cleric lost by. This would make the attempt dangerous as the every attempt could temporarily cut off your own spellcasting abilities for a short time. |

Should it require a feat or would it be an alternate class feature... or just something everyone who can turn undead can take advantage of? |
