UA + Complete Warrior/Divine [Archive] - Wizards Community

I am running a game soon that allows the non-eastern core classes (i.e. non the Samurai and not the Shugenja) from the Complete Warrior and Complete Divine. I am also using the "Class Bonus to AC" rule presented in Unearthed Arcana. Anyone got any suggestions as to which column to place the "Complete X" classes into?

10-22-04, 03:53 PM Just compare their armor proficiencies to the table in UA and assign the class defense bonus accordingly.

Personally, I don't like UA's defense bonus, but that's me. I'd favor a good/medium/poor defense bonus assigned per class. If you have the right feat (Armor Compatibility, c.f. The Wheel of Time RPG), it STACKS with Armor bonus to AC.

Of course, that works better in low-magic campaigns...
