Hello,
Does anyone know if Bloodline levels add to your character level for determining Ability Score boost? (the one characters get at every 4 levels)
The manual is not too clear on the subject...

Thanx.

Know? No. But I believe that bloodline levels are character levels for the purposes of most calculations. They're just weird, in that they don't give you HD, skill points, or most of the other things a level gives you.

But they cost the same as the "next level" right?

So for example.

I'm second level. I pay 3rd level XP for my 1st bloodline level.

To go to my 3rd level, I pay 4th level XP. 3rd level whatever/1st level bloodline?

This how it goes?

Yeah. Consider Bloodlines level as class level to determine your character level. For example, a ftr 2/rog 1 plus 1 major bloodline level (taken at 3rd) is a 4th-level character.

To KahnJackalMoreau.

That is right. You pay 4th level xp to be 3rd level character/1st level bloodline.
