| Harker10-31-05, 02:50 PM | Does anyone know if Unearthed Arcana has low magic versions of the various classes? For instance a version of the Ranger that doesn't get spells later on, but may get an ability that's a little more mundane? |
| Ozymandias V.10-31-05, 05:29 PM | Complete Warrior has non-spellcaster variants for the Ranger and the Paladin. |

| Tyler Do'Urden11-01-05, 03:16 AM | Complete Warrior page 13 has a ranger and a paladin with no spells. You want a low-magic wizard you could always just use adept. |
| Millennium11-01-05, 08:12 AM | It does list some non-spellcasting versions of the Paladin and Ranger, but I get the feeling this doesn't cover everything you want. You might also consider using the 'generic classes' option, which collapses the number of core classes down to three: Warrior, Expert, and Spellcaster (despite the names, the 'Warrior' and 'Expert' are not the same as the "NPC classes" in the DMG). The Spellcaster is somewhat weaker than the standard core spellcasting classes, and the Warrior and Expert can't cast spells at all. |
| Harker11-01-05, 01:13 PM | I'm planning on running a game with all the standard D&D races, but I'll be using a completely different set of rules for magic. I guess I can just modify the classes a little myself. thanks for the help |
