SSR 04-29-04, 03:10 PM	I wanted to create a variant bard/ Figther. The idea was to drop the spells and bardic music, keep the bardic knowledge and add some feats (maybe weapon specilization?). Know I dont know how this class would look like (hit die, BAB etc.) Can you help me create such a variant?
Cathon 04-29-04, 06:28 PM	How about Ranger Hit Dice and skill points, Bard Class Skills and Bardic Knowledge and every other Fighter Bonus feat, but no Weapon Specialization without actual fighter levels. This seems essentially the same as a fighter/bard multiclass, but trading the bard half's spells and song for full strength on Bardic Knowledge and 1/1 base attack. If you have a particular archetype in mind for this, there may be room to add another minor ability somewhere to make this less bland.
