03-22-05, 01:41 AM The variant cleric idea from pg. 58 suggest the idea of Clerics having Smite ability. Do they get this only once a day? Or do you get more uses a day when you level up?

May I suggest you read the beginning of that section, where you'll find this tidbit in the preceding column:A class feature works just as it did for its original class, including the level at which it is gained and any other effects, except as noted below.Sorry about the bump, but I know it ticks me off when my questions are ignored, so I figured this deserved an answer.

04-09-05, 05:45 PM i'd guess it to be the same number of uses per day as an unmodified paladin of an equal level. if this ain't the case, then it'd be a waste to implement the variant (to my mind).
