So my problem this time is this:
I'm using the vitality point system and other variants from UA. The player tried to use his death domain ability which is Death Touch. This struck me little as I have no idea how these are handeled in vitality system.
1) Does it only affect wound points?
Pretty unbalancing at higher levels
2) Only vitality points?
There would still be the wound points left so basicly he wouldn't be taking damage yet.
3) Affect when vitality and wound point score is achieved?
Cleric does not have a change of affecting with this ability anyone unless they are ridiculous low-level opponents.

So, how have you solved this? Any other such problems waiting?

How about wound points+vitality points?

How about wound points+vitality points?

Was my 3rd option. This makes the ability kinda useless as 2nd level cleric has with con 14 has about 16 Vitality points and 14 Wound points. That's a total of 30 points. You had to be 5th level cleric to slay him with the Death Touch and that is if he rolls maximum effect on the 5d6. Yes, he could kill him once higher level but why bother. In the normal HP system 3rd level cleric with Death Touch has a change to kill a 2nd level cleric.

One thing I'm thinking is to increase the Death Touch to d8/level.
