DyloniusFunk 04-15-07, 10:08 PM	I'm rolling up a new level 5 Artificer for my Eberron game. My DM said i can start with the gear of a lvl 5 NPC wizard, which incldues a bracer of armor +1. But since Artificers can use Medium Armor the bracer's won't be very useful since Armor bonuses don't stack. So i'm trying to decide between a Cloak of Resistance +1 or a 1st level Pearl Of Power. I had a pearl on my cleric and it can be quite useful, but getting a +1 to saves isn't to bad either, especially since Artificers only have one good save, and sadly thats Will which i have a -1 Wisdom mod for. It was my choice to go that way but having an extra save buff might help negate it a bit. So I'm wondering what you guys think i should pick. I will say now that i haven't run this by my DM but i don't see him objecting since i'm just swapping it out for an item of equal value which would git my character better and he's pretty good about player requests since we don't push things to far.
