I have a question about Gestalt. In the SRD it says that class features go up at the rate of the faster class. However, it doesn't say much about which features, or if there are any features that stack together.

So I would like to know, which features stack, and which do not?

Specifically, I would like to know this for the following features/classes:
- Trap Sense, in the case of a Barbarian//Rogue
- Sneak Attack, in the case of a Rogue//Wizard/Arcane Trickster
- Animal Companion bonuses and abilities in the case of a Druid//Ranger
- Familiar bonuses and abilities in the case of a Sorcerer//Wizard
- Psicrystal bonuses and abilities

1. Abilities that overlap each other are gained at the fastest/best rate between classes. This means HD, BAB, Saves and class abilities. If both have trap sense, use the one that you get fastest between either, they don't stack however. Animal Companion progresses as Druid, ignore ranger version. Familiar progresses as wizard, or sorcerer, as they are the same and overlap. Same as your psy-crystal.

2. You are highly discouraged from taking PrC's that blend two base classes with Gestalt. This means Mystic Thuerge and Arcane Trickster type classes.

The only thing that stacks is gestalt is spellcasting or equivalent abilities.

Alright. Thanks for the answers.

Still though, despite from being discouraged from "dual PrCs" as to put it, would Sneak Attack dice gained from the Arcane Trickster stack with those of the Rogue?

No, it wouldn't.

Depends on your DM. In my playgroup, yes it does. Talk to your DM about it.
