I've heard a lot about Action Points, and I'd like to know more. Which book are they detailed in? (not the SRD, as far as I can tell)

I assume it'd violate copyright to post the rules about action points here, although if there's some article I haven't found that describes them, that'd be great.

Thanks in advance.

They are detailed in Urba Arcana.

I also heard that Eberron defaults to the use of action points.

IIRC there are some differences between what is in Unearthed Arcana and Eberron. Eberron has feats that take advantage of them as well. It's a nice little system.

Wait for some time, and they should be found here. (http://www.d20srd.org/indexes/variantAdventuring.htm)

It should be noted that, while similar in use and name, Eberron Action Points and UA AP are not the same thing. The UA AP are more powerful than the Eberron AP, but Eberron AP are more versatile.
