| Bard-of-all-trades03-27-04, 04:28 PM | I have both UA and Dragon 311 and like the idea. They are both different though. Which set of bloodlines is better? NOTE: I generally do not play arcane spellcasters. I understand the Dragon article better than the chapter in UA. I am trying to expand my horizons by playing an arcane spellcaster to round out my DM abilities. |
| Hengwrt Ellesmere03-28-04, 02:18 AM | They aren't mutually exclusive. I've made the Dragon 311 bloodlines part of the base sorcerer class, giving sorcerers a base bloodline feat at level 1, and a choice from the additional bloodline feats at levels 5, 10, 15, and 20, just like the wizard's metamagic/creation feats. If someone in my game wanted to take a UA bloodline, he could do that too. I'd just require that the sorcerous bloodline and the UA bloodline be the same or similar. As for which is better, do you mean more powerful, or a better addition to the game? Obviously, I think the Dragon 311 is a great addition to the game, which is why I made it part of the base sorcerer class. |
