Ilaro 08-10-07, 03:06 PM	I have a friend who wants to play a Ranger but with the Wild Shape Class feature. And wants to put him into a Master of Many Forms. I mean, if he does that it, he will be able to become it by Level 3. Ranger 2/ Master of Many Forms 1. Doesn't that seem a lil to quick?
trapspringer 08-10-07, 07:26 PM	There is a ranger variant in UA that lets you wild shape as a druid. Wild shape isn't accessible until level five. You need to study up on your rules before your campaign gets rollings, and be sure to read over anything that requires DM approval not to prevent cheating but to be sure everyone knows how stuff works. Variant (http://www.d20srd.org/srd/variant/classes/variantCharacterClasses.htm#ranger) Druid (http://www.d20srd.org/srd/classes/druid.htm) Note how the druid doesn't get wildshap until level five, and see how the ranger variant says "as druid?"
Ilaro 08-12-07, 04:51 PM	Oh I know all the rules man, I've been a DM since AD&D, but they way they word the variant in the Unearthed Arcana, can be misleading as well. It could be taken out of context like I explained above. That's all, just asking what other people think?:cool:

Don't let a player's hokey possible interpretations faze you. :D
