Wilderness Rogue [Archive] - Wizards Community

06-09-04, 05:45 PM Okay, since no one posts very regularly on the Unearthed Arcana Board, I'll post here.

I went to the bookstore to check out the wilderness rogue variant, but I think they sold our or didn't order any more copies of UA. Can anyone give me that variant so that I may use it in my campaign? It would be greatly apprieciated.

If you want to use the material in the book, then go buy it. If your local store doesn't have it, there's always online places like Amazon.com.

People, not buying the books mean the books don't get published. If you don't buy the books, the hobby dies. Its like having a great new movie come out, and nobody goes to see it because they're getting it for free from somebody. That means low box office takes, which means the company that made the movie won't make a sequal because it flopped financially.

Same thing here.

You know, I think UA is open content, or so I've heard. There's even a thread here (http://boards1.wizards.com/showthread.php?s=&threadid=255291) that talks about if UA could be put in the SRD section.

06-10-04, 10:03 PM Remove Appraise, Diplomacy, Decipher Script, Forgery, and Gather Information as skills, and add Woodland Stride, Camouflague, and Ranger's Hide in Plain Sight as possible special abilities.

I'll have to go look up whats kosher to post up for UA then, see if things like Gestalt are fair game or not.

10-09-04, 08:55 AM Do you gain any class skills, like Survival or Knowledge (nature)? It seems odd to lose those skills and only gain other options for the rogue special ability. Can anyone elaborate?
