Wildshaping, non-spellcasting ranger? [Archive] - Wizards Community

05-20-06, 12:11 PM I was wondering about how to combine the UA wildshaping ranger with the CWar non-spellcasting ranger. The one thing that concerns me is that they both, at 1st and 6th level respectively, gain barbarian-style fast movement, +10 speed. Should they stack, for a total of 50' movement, or should the CWar non-spellcasting fast movement be replaced with something else? What?

05-20-06, 12:45 PM Have you considered using the PHBII Druid Shapeshifting option instead? Trade out the Ranger's spells and animal companion for Shapeshifting... maybe allow an animal form combat style that uses Improved Natural Attack...
