I'm interested in a Wizard/Geometer character and the next campaign I'm playing in is a gestalt campaign and I can't figure out what I should do. I was thinking rogue because of the synergies of dex and int along with the class skills and 8 + int (which would effectively mean I could get every knowledge if I wanted to). I was also toying around with Bard for being able to cast some self buffs and weird spells spontaneously if needed. Like casting a quick light spell spontaneously or something. Things that didn't involve saves (I'd get Cha to 16 and then stop raising that to concentrate on Int). Then I'd have 6 + int and I'd still have a good reflex save.

Any other ideas?

My advice is to decide what you value highest, then find a class that provides that and is otherwise radically different from Wzard. F'rinstance:

Rogue, as you said, for the hugh skill points. You get a decent combat boost (you can sneak attack with ranged touch spells!) and some nice special abilites.

Bard is also a good choice. Bards get lots of buffing spells, and if you focus on those you'll never have to worry about save DCs, or prepare them as a wizard. Plus, if you take Silent Spell, you can cast wizard spells in armor while using bardic music!

Ranger. Good skill points, decent abilities, much better combat ability and hit points. Plus, you'd end up with all good saves.

If you can swing a decent Wisdom, monk/wizard is a devestating combo. Neither class needs armor. Neither class needs weapons. Monks have fantastic maneuverability. Wizards can buff themselves into near-demigods. The only thing missing is healing.

Barbarian, For hit points, full BAB, and some nice side skills like Uncanny dodge and increased move speed.
