| Xeviat-DM07-13-05, 06:04 PM | The two largest rule changes I will be using in my next campaign are the VP/WP rules and my own MP system. In my MP system, each class has a mana die, which is rolled and added to their Wisdom modifier to determine their mana points; even non-casters have mana points, which helps multiclass spellcasters keep up. Now, I know I want to use the vitalizing rules for MP, but I think similar rules could be used in WP/VP. Since Wound Points represent your physical ability to withstand damage, I understand the risk of being stunned upon taking wound damage. But Vitality Points represent your ability to avoid damage; as they are reduced, doesn't it make sense for a character to become fatigued or exausted like in the vitalizing mana point rules? |
