19: Have the party's two-weapon wielder find a pair of blades: An Elven Thinblade and an Elven Lightblade (Complete Warrior), both +2 Keen Vorpal Skillful (Latter enchantment from Complete Arcane - bestows proficiency)... and Cursed. See then how the two-weapon wielder tries to navigate around with the most lethal, badass weapons on the continent... while being unable to cover them up, hide them, put them in their scabbards or anything. Watch him try to eat, and decapitate the wizard while attempting to pick up an apple. Watch him... well, you get the idea. :evillaugh

24. Infected Portals
Essentially make almost all portals the characters use become infected with a disease that mutates them using a chart for rolls and possible negative and positive mutations. Give them a Fortitude save upon moving through and then tell them what has or hasn't happened. (I've used this one already and have charts still left for anyone who wants them)

30.) Two words: Smart. Villain. I'm referring to a BBEG who isn't just there to "challenge" the PC's, but who really fights to win. He/she scryes (...scries, scrys?) on the PCs in advance, uses every advantage possible (cover, well-trained underlings, magic, etc.) and systematically takes them apart.

I have a villain like this behind my current story arc; hopefully she won't completely wipe out the party when she reveals herself.

THis worked for me, have a level 20 druid bad guy turn into a small critter, like a chipmunk.

Go hide in a hole or something.

Wait for the PCs to walk by.

I CLAIM VICTORY!!!!!

(Also, I titled it 'reverse will', but 'the barbarian bridge' comes in close second.)
