| matrix_king304-09-07, 09:49 AM | Im always starting a campaign and after a couple of game sessions, I decide to completely change the setting and restart the campaign. Im doing this because I never finded a good campaign idea, flavor or call it whatever you want. I really need help finding idea for a good campaign. This thread will surely become a good database for any new DM looking for campaign plots. 1. The players are ancient great heroes that freed a poeple from slavery. They reborn in their tomb with no cloths and no weapons. They only got a bad fealing and remember only couple of things like, their names and where they are from. The goal : They must find who they are and why the gods reborn them. |

| Jisho04-09-07, 10:37 PM | I was going to do this for my next campaign, although now I may end up editing it, maybe rather heavily, or scraping it because we're going to do this (http://www.clanwebsite.org/games/rpg/Dawn_of_Worlds_game_1_0Final.pdf) (which sounds like a lot of fun): 3. Characters wake up in a different world (different plane, probably) from where they came from, where they find a few others in the same situation and no idea why. Before long, they discover from the natives that their arrival was prophesied to come soon (a couple of years tops probably) before a mysterious, potentially world-wrecking cataclysm. |
| yellowdingo04-10-07, 04:57 AM | 4. Thy Land Shall sink into the Sea "Urgar, you know this fruit should cost coppers. Why the price hike?" Denwyn was astonished at the cost increase. "Dont Know. There has been a shortage this last harvest. My farmers are telling me we are...THyLandShaLLsinKintOThEsea... slipping into famine and the aristocracy aint listening." Urgar didnt even notice what he had said. Denwyn stared in astonishment at his grocier. Unwyn waved an apple in Denwyn's face. "Hullo? You want the fruit or not?" Urgar waited. He could Wait. DM Briefing: Ordinary folk begin spouthing Prophecy. |
| Cthulhu312504-10-07, 06:37 AM | 5). A powerful wizard brings together a group of adventurers to retrieve the pieces of a lost artifact oh god make it stop. |
| Vengeblade04-10-07, 08:41 AM | I used this one for my recent campaign. 6.)The PCs wake up to find themselves chained up inside a boat without their gear. They ahve no memory as to how they got there. The last thing anyone remembers is ordering a strange orange drink before passing out. Who did this? Where are they headed? Why them? |
| Shmatt04-10-07, 09:57 AM | 7) the PC's stop a petty thief, only to find his goods are part of a powerful spell - one a cabal of wizards are using to destroy the world. can the group find the other components, the real members of the cabal from the wizards guild, how deep the conspiracy goes, and stop the spell before the doomsday begins? (this was inspired by the optimization boards.. who'd of thought combining apocalipse from the sky with explosive spell can open up a hole in the earths crust and completely decimate all life within over a hundred miles... :D ) |
