yes, yet another 1001 thread, and just in time for the holiday season!!! what have you done just to throw your players horribly off balance. or something just so out of left field, you get a long stair, or maybe manic laughter. or, maybe something your dm has done mine they were investigating why the kingdoms outposts stopped reporting in. their were 12, and every time I was about to say what was their, one player always interupted, shouting "MONKEYS!". despite its stupidity, it never realy got annoying me: you open the doors to the final outpost, and you see... player: MONKEYS!!! me: yes player: *was laughing*... :eek: realy??? me: mhm player: :uh-huh: i.. uh.. a.. wel... your not joking, their are realy a bunch of monkeys in this outpost??? me: yep, roll initiative they of corse slaughterd the things, but it took me 5 minutes to convince everyone i was serious. they still laugh at the stunned reactions they had.
