PC:s traveling at secluded road find rogue sealed to cage and let to starve, still alive and begging players to let him free and promising to tell them about lost treasure / buried loot if they help him 2. At city shady looking NPC approaches players and promises to show/sell them something really extraordinary. 3. At city some slaves/prisoners are escaping. 4. While travelig at countryside, PC:s hear help cryes of help coming from a well. A mage has been trapped there because he cant climb out there because hes hurt and theres Dead magic zone at the bottom of well. More to come as my boss stops sneaking behind me :)... |

The party must persuade them to lower the prices or just make an example out of them by killing them. In my campaign, the merchants were a bunch of half-orc sailers on a ship captained by a halfling. Yes, a halfling... with a Belt of Giant Strength and a few Bull's Strength potions. All the half-orcs followed the little guy cause he was stronger than them. It was a very memorable situation for the players. |
