| Golden Zealot07-08-06, 08:14 AM | I don't know about the rest of you, but I find if a session or even just an encounter drags on too long I end up always repeating the same 'you cut his arm', 'you cut his leg', 'you cut his chest'. Once it even got down to me just saying hit or miss for everyone. That was terrible. It's the kind of thing that probably comes with experience (i'll have to get me some of that) but I thought for the benefit of anyone else who finds their imagination run dry after a long encounter we might have a nice long list of detailed descriptions of various injuries for combat, melee, ranged, spells, and even exciting dodges! I'll with a few to get the blood flowing 1. The [enemy] cries out in pain as your [weapon] opens a swift gash in his arm, casting a line of blood across the floor 2. Blood sprays from his mouth and nose as the mace whacks the back of his head with an audible crack of bone |
| X-Codes07-08-06, 08:27 AM | My sword-and-board TWFer ran across a full-plate-and-tower baddie. He missed with his board and critted with his sword, so I went: 3) You drive your shield into your [foe's], knocking it asaide as you slip your blade under his helmet, loosing a river of blood down the front of his armor. Then theres a nice, old standby: 4) You disembowel your foe with your [weapon], causing a pathetic wimper of pain as he catches his own entrails before death. |
| Sergikins07-08-06, 10:22 AM | I'll give it a shot.... 5) (on blow where it drops them below -10 only) You drive your (weapon) into (foe(s)) spine, ripping flesh off his spine. Seeing an oppritunity, you grab his spine and pull it clear out of his body 6) Your swing connects solidly with (foe), he flinchs from the searing pain 7) (death by grapple) You can feel your foe is near death. You grab his legs, and swing him like a board. you hear a sickening crunch as his head slams the floor 8) (sneak attack) You stab your (weapon) into his back, and twist. It becomes difficult as sinew and muscles contort, as you pull your (weapon) out, a fountain of blood follows it. 9) You drive your sword into your foes gut, and push foward. suddenly it gets easier, as your sword passed clear through his body. 10) you swing up on (foes) back, and plunge your weapon into its neck three times. |
| Cthulhu312507-08-06, 10:40 AM | 11). Driving the sharpened spoon deep into your adversary's abdomen, time seems to distort and slow as you observe the expression of dismay creep across his face. Swiftly withdrawing the spoon, you reach your other hand into the bloodied hole and grab a fistful of ragged intestinal tract, pulling his viscera out while giggling like a schoolgirl. 12). For a monk attacking from behind: Momentarily pausing to energise your fist with the divine energies of the ki, you gather all your might and heave your fist through your opponent's spine. His agony is almost palpable as the his vertebral column gives way under the disruption, and exquisite gouts of synovial fluid spray from the severed nerve-cluster. Forcing all your weight into the blow, your fist emerges out the other side of your opponent's chest cavity. You indulge him in a few moments of horror as he looks down drowsily to observe the hand that has emerged from his chest, before curling your arm back around and shattering the cartilage of his throat. 13). Coup-de-grace, maybe? With a bestial roar, your muscles tense to the edge of their endurance and your opponent's shoulder gives way. There is a brief tearing sound as his arm is detached from his torso, and, as he collapses to his knees, you swing the arm around, battering him into unconsciousness with the still-bleeding end of his severed limb. |
| beholdergaze07-08-06, 10:43 AM | 14) You close in, feigning right and with a swift display of skill whirl around cleaving your axe into the (monsters) neck, ending the pathetic existance it once called life. |
| Griff07-08-06, 01:05 PM | Your (blunt weapon) impacts solidly on his/her... 15). ... chest, you oppenent staggers backward gasping for breath. observing the dent in its armour you confident that her lungs are now full of shards of bone as she clutches her side. 16). ... knee, it buckles under the impact forcing the joint to extend well past its normal range of movement, there is a shriek of pain as your opponent falls whimpering to the ground, you kick his dropped (weapon) away before administering a swift blow to the head. 17)...head, the mage's body slumps lifless, as you forcefull strike piece's his feeble magial protectionsto shatter the side of his skull. you quickly shake the remains off your weapons flanged edges. 18). ... sheild but the force is such that you hear the bone beneath crack. the warrior's once feirce expression is replaced with one tinged with pain. as you ready yourself for his counterattack you notice he's holding his sheild arm a little lower... (misses can be fun too) |
| golddore6807-08-06, 01:09 PM | 19. (For trolls as they are burned with fire:) You hear an inhuman, agonizing screech of pain as the hideous monster tries frantically to beat as its body to get the fire out. But it's too late. Flames leap from his head/arms/shoulders/back/legs and the monster crumples into a heap. As you watch, transfixed, a horrified look melts on the creature's face, and it quickly turns to ashes. |
| Finriod07-08-06, 02:49 PM | Usually for a big status villian... 20. The usual arrogant smirk on <name here>'s face slowly slides into a look of sheer terror as his internal organs fall to the ground with a sickening "plop". |
| DarkCaller07-08-06, 05:12 PM | 21: With calculated precision, your [weapon] whips at the bandit, turning his head into a red mist and shattered bone. 22:With a quick jab, your dagger pirces his chest and with a jerk, the blade cuts upward into his heart. His eyes widen in suprise as he slides off the blade. |
| Sergikins07-08-06, 05:35 PM | i just realized God of War would be awesome to get some more ideas.... such as the classic. 23. you headbutt the minotaur onto the ground, and shove your blade in its throat. As it gasps for breath, it spews blood :P |
| vunderling07-08-06, 06:22 PM | 24. As you lope your opponents hand off, he sinks to the floor with an expression of horror. 25. Your sword cleaves through the armour, and you feel it slice through flesh. A dark red line gapes open revealing muscle and torn flesh underneath. 25. With two deft moves, you deflect their weapon up high and brings yours (crashing/slashing/ ripping) down through metal, muscle, and bone. |
| General_Ridley07-08-06, 06:30 PM | 26. The [ranged ammunition] cleaves straight through the [foe]'s eye, as blood flows out the now mangled socket. |
| DecepticonHQ07-09-06, 01:20 AM | Once again, borrowing wholesale from Simon R. Green (one of my absolute favorite writers). 27. (For a bladed critical) Your blade punches cleanly in and out of <target's> chest, leaving a fountain of blood and an agonized scream in its wake. 28. (For a sucessful Stunning Fist) You rabbit-punch <humanoid>, knocking the wind out of him/her/it. <Humanoid> bends forward as if bowing to you, emitting slight gurgling noises. |
| Zillah07-09-06, 02:14 AM | You see the giant rat with chunks missing out of its body. The Orb of Acid flies toward it, slamming into the rat. As it does, the rat disintegrates into a pile of goo, all thats left is the tail at the end. |
| Sergikins07-09-06, 04:58 PM | I like this thread!!! 30) you grab the [foe] by its head, push down, and drive your [bladed weapon] up its back, ripping apart his spine. |
| bekeleven07-09-06, 05:32 PM | 31) Well, you never have exactly been properly schooled, but in your experience skulls weren't supposed to bend... 32) Your spear enters your foe's head through one ear. By the angle of your hand, it exits the other ear with two thirds of the man's brain on the tip. My next one was used in a campaign with a goliath with monkey grip (I HRed it): 33)The thing about your sword is, it's really thick. And, let's face it, this guy was pretty thin. So, when you stabbed him in the stomach, you were intially only aware of a wet sopping sound- but as the blood spurted and his top half fell off the bottom half with your huge blade in the middle, the man's face contorts to one of agony. |
| Count Nerindil Van Seraph07-09-06, 05:37 PM | 34) The Eldrich Blast erupts from your outstreched had and flies toward the knight, emithing an unearthly roar. In the split second before impact a grin creeps across your face, as you see the mans eyes grow in fear, his mouth opening in a vain effort to scream. As the blast connects, it utterly disintigrates the right side of his torso, from shoulder to waist. As his ravaged arm falls to the ground, he drops to his knees, howling in pain he never thought possible. His cries cease as a gout of blood and vomit spews from his mouth and his body is wracked with death throws. as the foul stench of bile and burnt flesh fills the air, you turn toward the next foe. Sorry for poor punctuation and spelling. |
| Piggyfreak607-09-06, 05:48 PM | 35) You raise your warhammer high, as your muscles tighten, and your veins pulse, you see the gleam of terror in the childs eyes. You bring your warhammer down into her father's temple, as his eyes pop out of his head. Then, you lift him by his eyes, swing him around your head, and toss him into the back wall. Then you walk out and say to the child, "If you say anything, I'll do the same to you." |
| Sergikins07-09-06, 09:32 PM | 35) You raise your warhammer high, as your muscles tighten, and your veins pulse, you see the gleam of terror in the childs eyes. You bring your warhammer down into her father's temple, as his eyes pop out of his head. Then, you lift him by his eyes, swing him around your head, and toss him into the back wall. Then you walk out and say to the child, "If you say anything, I'll do the same to you." ....ouch. I think this one hurts the most. |
| Generic Fighter07-10-06, 12:12 AM | 36: As you remove your sword from the foe, He/She/It watches what once was a vital internal organ slowly slide off your blade with His/Her/Its last breath. 37: For a monk: You smash your foe hard with an uppercut so hard that He/She/It is knocked up off the ground a few inches. He/She/It lands off balance, effectively stunned. 38: Your <Bladed Weapon> hacks into the Ogres wrist right at the joint. It cuts almost all the way through leaving the Ogres limp hand hanging off the end of its arm by a single remaining tendon. So...are these pretty cool? Generic Fighter:fight!: |
| Sergikins07-10-06, 12:29 PM | haha, heres an idea. 39) [character] does several flips and tumbles and lands on the [prime miniser of Malyasias] head, and rips it off. 40) you run past [matterazzi] turn around, and headbutt him. he falls on the ground, writhing in pain. ok, thats the silly ones. 41) the [enemy] lunges at you, and you step out of the way. You grab his over extended arm, and throw him on the ground. With a heave of strength you step on his jaw and hear a pleasent crack 42) your foe swings lowm and you grab his head and leapfrog over him. as hes trying to get back up, you tear apart his back with your dagger and plunge in in the nape of his neck. 43) you thrust your sword straight ahead, and peirce his full plate. the screech of steel on steel stops as your weapon lodges itselfs in your foes chest 44) you feint, and plung your stilleto in your foes armpit, peircing his heart. |
| Drausktanchache07-10-06, 02:08 PM | 44. (for a blunt weapon the deals enough to send them to -10 or lower) You mightily swing your [your blunt weapon here] into [your foe here]'s head taking off their head which falls to the ground in a cascadinging waterfall of blood. 45. (some peole always love demolishions) You arc the explosive over your head and watch as it lands square on the chest of [your foe here] exploding, [your foe here] screams and the scent of burning flesh is quite pungent. 46. (fire ball spell that kills a target) You point you finger and a small ball of fire flys forth striking the [desegnated target] sending them sprawling, you can still hear the sound of boiling flesh, and a rush of excitement comes to you. |
| Count Nerindil Van Seraph07-10-06, 04:50 PM | Wow. These are way more fun than they should be ;). 47) (for a Monk) You lash out with your foot aiming low. Your blow connects with its intended target and the victims knee snaps back in the opposite direction, sending him reeling off ballance. A look of exquisite pain crosses his face, but before he has a chance to scream, you grab the nape of his neck and push his head towards the ground. It never makes it there. As his skull connects with your up-thrust knee, a fountain of blood, gray matter, spinal fluid and even a tooth or two spews from the massive exit wound. Licking a streak of the vile stuff from your face, you turn towards a new threat. This next one is something that a character of mine did. He had bladed armor (like spiked, but with slashing damage) with the flaming enchantment on the blades. The poor soul i inflicted this punishment upon was the last of a horde (and I mean A LOT) of low level characters that we had to take on all at once, so the DM let me have some fun with him. 48) The poor fool, only now realising that all of his alies have been slain, drops his weapon and falls to his knees. "Please! Please spare me! I'll tell you anything, just don't kill me!" You stride towards him, your usual arrogant smirk spread across your face. As you reach his quivering form, you see tears of terror streaming down his pittiful face. Your face contorts into a sneer and you spit on his face. "You disgust me, you sniviling little bastard," you say, reaching for his collar and hoisting him into the air. "Tell me were the key is." "Oh thank you! It's in the (blah blah blah)." "Good boy," you say, your wide grin revaling your sharpend teeth. You speak the comand word and your armor ingnites with blistering heat. The man tries in vain to struggle, but it is too late. You slam his body into your own, adamantine blades cutting weak flesh, slicing through bone like paper. He screams in agony as his freshly spilled blood simmers like butter in a frying pan. His hair ignites and his skin begins to fall off in semi-solid sheets. Unable to take the terrible heat, his eyes explode yout of his skull, covering your face in a thick ichor. His lungs burst and his howls cease for good. His body wreched, now totaly blackened, form continues writhing for nearly another minute. ...I need a shower... The Count :dragon: |
| Ragix07-10-06, 08:38 PM | This is one of my personal favorites. It's from a campaign where our party's barbarian has become the unsuspecting host for a tsochar. This explains its exit. "...you feel a wriggling sensation inside your body. It intensifies into great pain as Jasx (the tsochar) struggles to leave your body. With a sickening wet tearing sound, a many-toothed maw shoves out of your shocked mouth as you gasp for breath, and it is immediately followed by a mass of long, indigo-colored tentacles, and it hits the floor with a slimy thud. Its rapid and forced exit deals you 3d6 damage." Goooood times. |
| Sergikins07-10-06, 09:46 PM | This has become my new way to vent at my job. work 8 hours, post gory descriptions :D anyhow 50!!)You elbow your foes face and he falls over. as he tries to get up, you swing your mace into his face and release a bestial roar, crushing his skull and splattering blood on your outstretched arm 51) your foe swings at you with strength to cleave your body in half, but you step to the side. you grab his outstrecthed arm, twist his wrist and break it, and shove his sword in his own gut. for good measure, you push up, cleaving his internal organs. 52) you grab your foes arm and twist your body. with all your strength, you pull his body to the ground over your back, and swing him like a board, with a satisfying thud as he clunks on the ground. 53) (shocking grasp) you grasp you foe around his throat with your out streched arm, electricty cackling on your fingertips. you channel more energy, and your foes eyes widen, as his hair stands up on end. His mouth begins to contort as he screams like he never has before. |
| Count Nerindil Van Seraph07-14-06, 09:36 PM | :bump: This thread must not die! Sergikins sanity depends on it! Besides, these are fun. |
| Dowjin07-14-06, 10:53 PM | 54) When you heft the massive blade about, you see your foe jump backwards in startled astonishment as he/she realized its much too late to get out of the way. The metal cleaves hard into his/her chest, sinking deep with the clamor of splintering bones, rivulets of blood pulsing from the wound. With death -> His/her breath gives a hitch, as you see his/her lower lip tremble, blood pooling around his/her tongue and dribbling out in a steady stream of ichor. His/her breathing is ragged, as if you had hewn apart his/her lung, and then it stops, the body going limp against the (great)sword/halberd. (Which will slide off slowly, or sag against PC) 55) As you place your fingers to his/her gut and release the eldtritch magic (harm, eldritch blast, ray spell) you hear a croak come from the body as a clipped gasp sounds like it was cut off buy a tearing vacancy of the lungs. You feel a shudder as if something had blasted through the body, and an emptiness where your hand is now. You see a mist of blood erupt out of his/her back, cunks of bone and sinew flying as (describe ray or magic burst) careens through and out of their body. |
| Piggyfreak607-14-06, 10:57 PM | 56) (Assassin Death attack) You watch your victem as he works in his shop. You drop down from the celing and put a hook into his back. You pull hard on the chain, and the hook slowly tears out the his spine. You grab his spinal cord and tie him to the nearest pole with it. On the counter, you write in his blood, "You should have paid your dues. - The Dark Brotherhood" 57) (Animal Compaions attack) Your Wolf runs forward towards the little Kobald. As he rushes by, he tears off the young lizards arm. As the kobald falls down, bleeding all over, the wolf trots over, and tears into the chest of the kobald, having a nice afternoon snack of lizard heart. 58) (Monks attack) You take your fingers and shove them up the enemies nose. As you lift him high, you backup and jump. You fall forward, pushing the back of his head into the ground. You place your foot on the front of his neck, and pull his nose upwards. You pull, and pull untill his nose rips off. You hold it in the palm of your hand as you say, "And they say you can't pick your friend's nose." |
| DMDaddy07-15-06, 02:12 AM | I used this one tonight. 59) As the Dire Shark takes his second chomp on the grappled Gnome, like a large balloon filled with dark red syrup, the Gnome bursts open and red thick blood bursts forth and clouds the water. 60) As you thrust your great sword forward past the Ogres defenses, you stab into his belly and your sword pierces through his back severing the spine just above the pelvic bone. The Ogres expression contorts to that of great pain as his legs give out bellow him. Apon removing your sword from his belly a mass of entrails squishes out into the air leaving a stench like no other. He looks dead. |
| Drausktanchache07-15-06, 07:32 PM | Wow. These are way more fun than they should be ;). you're right but they are always very entertaining 61. When an undead kills a pc... The (your undead here) grabs hold of (your pc here) and rends the flesh gnawing away, blood splatters all over your equipment and your face, you can hear large crunches as (your pc here) is slowly turned into nothing more than an unidentifiable mass of flesh. |
| AlanBruce07-15-06, 07:54 PM | 62. A victim of Blindness: "You feel acute pain in your eyes as invisible daggers puncture the retina and nerves. Your vision becomes cloudy as you feel two blots of flesh slide down your cheeks and hear a splat on the cold stone floor. The rest of your comrades gasp in horror as the remains of your eyes sizzle on the ground before you and tears of blood flow from your empty sockets." |
| Generic Fighter07-15-06, 08:59 PM | 63: The Wererat bites down hard on your arm, ripping a hunk of your flesh from it. The Wererat chews the flesh up, swallows it and licks its lips! Meanwhile, you have a sudden craving for a Cheese and Cleric Sandwich! :P 64: The Dragon snaps its jaws and bites, not you but your WEAPON?! It yanks your weapon out of your grip and CRUSHES it between its teeth! The Dragon swallows the remains of the Weapon and lets out an Echoing BELCH and smiles EVILLY down at you! I agree that this is quite Fun :evillaugh Generic Fighter:fight!: |
| clarkvalentine07-15-06, 09:09 PM | Ever seen the critical tables from the old game Run Out The Guns? Holy cow, that's some creative carnage right there. Things like "The shot slams into the deck at your feet, sending splinters of oaken timbers through your body. You bleed to death in 3 rounds." |
| Sergikins07-15-06, 09:19 PM | used one similar to this 65) You lower on the rope slowly and silently until you are dangling two feet over the guards head... you drop, and plunge your dagger in his neck, and cover his mouth with your other hand. he collapses to the floor, screaming uslessly into your hand 66) You lift your greataxe over your head, and send it hurtling towards your foe. he easily steps out of the way, and you quickly flip over the haft, using the momenteum from your mighty swing and and rip his arm clean off his body. he clutchs the bloodied stump and the few sinews hanging off. 67) You elbow your foe in the face, and he begins to fall on the ground. you then proced to shove your longspear up his back, and replace his spine with metal and wood 68) (setting against a mounted charge) you brace one end of your spear in the ground and plant your feet firmly on the ground. the antipaldin continues to rush towards you on his slavering mount. the long spear and the horse collide, and gouts of blood splatter on your face as it drives itself onto the metal blade. 69) (power word kill) You wave your hand, and black energy appears at your foes feet. suddenly, he is thrusted five feet in the air, and his limbs become splayed. he screams out in pain as all four quadrents of his body are ripped apart. the limbs fall on the ground useless, with parts of the torso attached, and finally, the head plunks down inthe center witha look of sheer terror on its face, |
| Secrets Untold07-15-06, 09:35 PM | I delight in scaring my players (and DMs!) with gory combat descriptions. I also am an accomplished maker of cursed items. These are a couple of cursed descriptions, specifically those with fireballs... 65: (Necklace of Fireballs, Cursed to attack s before enemies, neverending ammo, occasionally activates without warning) A sharp, burning, pain grows at your neck, before a huge blast of flame shot out and struck a building. There is an intense burst of a red substance, its impossible to tell whether it is or flame, and you can hear the screams of a little gril of about eight... 66: (As above, but cursed to attack owner) A sharp burning pain grows at your neck -- (interrupted by player) I pull out my dagger and attempt to cut the necklace off -- *rolls* a jet of rockets from your neck... (at this point the player has left the table to go get a backup, but I continue) |
| Nerf_Samurai07-15-06, 09:41 PM | 67. You thrust your sword through his sternum, the tip emerging from his back. He stares at it stupidly as blood driops from his mouth. You release the handle for a second, then heave upward on the blade with all your strength, slicing through his neck and exiting through the top of his head. |
| Piggyfreak607-15-06, 09:58 PM | 68) (Swarm Attack) The swarm of monsterous spiders creeps quickly towards you. As they surround your feet, you stomp wildly at them. They crawl quickly up your body and into your mouth, ears, and nose. You feel small sharp pains of tiny daggers as they constantly bite you. As their poison takes affect, you fall to the ground, limp. You watch helplessly as spiders eat away your flesh and your comrads flee. When they return, your flesh looks like a withered, insect chewed leaf. Full of holes, and crunchy to the touch. |
| Sergikins07-15-06, 10:29 PM | woah woah woah woah. its like everyone missed mine. we are currently at...73. next person writes 74 |
| Sergikins07-15-06, 11:12 PM | And i guess I'm #74! You expertly flip your oppenent off you back. as he slams back down on his back, you bring your iron boot crashing down on hsi jaw, which yields easily to the force of your stomp |
| Nerf_Samurai07-16-06, 12:29 AM | 75. The massive Warforged fighter snaches up the terrified gnome at his feet, gripping him with two massive battlefists. The warforged sqeezes slightly before speaking the command word that ignites his hands and burns the gnome to ash. |

| Dark Stryke07-16-06, 02:00 AM | For unarmed attacks. 76. Your spinning kick connects solidly with <foe>'s jaw, splattering blood and teeth against the nearby wall. 77. You fist smashes <foe>'s nose with a sickening crack. His head snaps back from the force of the blow and he staggers two steps backwards. When he re-orients himself on you, you can see blood streaming into his mouth from his flattened and ruined nose. 78. Your knee catches <foe> in the chest, and you here the air whoosh out of his lungs with a grunt. 79. You elbow <foe> in the throat, and his eyes bulge from the pain. "that all ya... got?" He wheezes breathlessly. 80. (charge) Your dramatic flying kick ends when your foot meets <foe>'s groin. The force of the impact sends him sprawling prone, where he curls up and begins sobbing like a little girl. 81. (flurry of blows) You rain a series of quick strikes all over the body of <foe>. Bones crack as your fists and feet repeatedly connect with wet thuds. For the axe wielder... 82. (power attack) You swing your axe in a mighty arc, feeling a slight resistance midway through the swing. You now look upon the body of <foe>, neatly cleaved in two. 83. (nonlethal) You repeatedly bang <foe> on the head with the flat of your blade. He staggers, feebly trying to fend off your swings. With one final hit, his eyes glaze over and his legs buckle. He crumples to the ground like a marionette with its strings cut. 84. (miss) Your axe connects with <foe>'s shield, sending a resounding crash all throughout the room. <Foe> shakes his now numb shield arm, trying to restore some feeling to the limb. |
| Drausktanchache07-16-06, 11:29 AM | if we're goin with cursed items too... 83. Potion of Fireball - You watch in [your emotion here] as [your foe/PC/NPC here] quaffs this strange slightly warm red potion, as soon as they finish it you wait for the moment as if seconds are turning into minutes, soon a huge explosion from seemingly nowhere goes off and all that remains of [the same Foe/PC/NPC] is just a bunch of little bits of scorched flesh. |
| Sergikins07-16-06, 05:18 PM | 86! now.... 86) You take three daggers, and expertly throw all three of them in your foes gut. you then kick your foe in the jaw and give each dagger a sharp, swift kick. by the end of your onslaught of attacks, each dagger is lodged in his body 87) You visioucly swing at your foe and he backs in fear. with a satanical glee in you face, you know he has nowhere left to go, you finally get through his pitiful shield and plunge you sword in his chest 88) sycthe crit) you swing with your scythe at the foe, and he stupidly steps in. then you pull in your scythe, cutting his back open and covering it with blood. you then punch him in the jaw, grab your sycthe firmly and kick him into the protruding blade. the sharp blade severs bone and muscle as he falls uselessly into two halves |
| Sergikins07-17-06, 10:00 AM | :bump: |
| Ront Iron-Roar07-18-06, 02:19 AM | 89) Suddenly, your mind is alight with sapphire light as motes of electricity crackle and then explode in a myriad of jagged claws that tear at your mind severing the domination of your instincts and intellect temporarily from your body. Muscles go slack as you relax, your senses dulled. Though, it isn't long till the slick and oily coolness slides over your temples and tentacle. The quickling cooling residue left behind sending tingling sensation through your body. It isn't long till you catch sight of serpentine shape of glistening mauve green flesh above your brow but only for a moment. It isn't long till those rubbery tentacles suddenly stiff as tips press to the top of your skull. A searing white pain disrupts the coldness of that flesh and your nerves are set alight in agony. Your mind is ablaze even as icey tentacles slide into your flesh and through the bone with a slick sucking noise. The heat of thick and gooey ichor leaks down over the rim of your ear and down your cheek dripping onto your shoulder to fall away into the blackness of your narrowing vision. Soon, your vision fades, the pain is gone, the salty, almost buttery taste of soft and gelatinous gray matter passes through your mind. You are at peace....then....you feel nothing anymore. Tentacles curling inward in ecstacy the Illithid's head convulses as the rows of muscle within its mouth writhe and twitch to pull in more and more of that brain. Rivulets of mucus and ichor dripping down from those writhing tendrils as the illithid's blank eyes glisten in pleasure. Its meal devoured those skeletal thin fingers release the corpse letting it fall to the ground. |
| Sergikins07-18-06, 11:07 PM | grrrr... double post |
| Sergikins07-18-06, 11:07 PM | 90) you lift your broadsword in the air and bring it down with a mighty cleave on your foes body. he grimaces in pain and swings back at you. you easily deflect his feeble blow and use both your armored knuckles and clobber him on the head. his head buckles down and you lift you knee and stomp on his head, bringing it towards the ground. then you plunge your broadsword in his back, twist, and pull out a hunk of flesh. |
| dengarbountyhunter07-18-06, 11:35 PM | mazzolatta (spelling?) coup-de-grāce: 91)As your opponent falls on his knees, your arm swings down and your flanged mace crushes his forehead, sending shards of skulls and bits of brain flying. The strenght of the blow knocks him on his back as you take of your knife, slit open his throat and stomp his chest to make a crimson fountain out of his jugular. |
| Piggyfreak607-21-06, 03:12 PM | 92) (Nymphs death stare) You look into the bright, blue eyes of the fair brown skinned maiden. Her smooth, wet skin glissens in the sun. You feel your knees weaken, as you palms sweat. She starts walking towards you and you fall to the ground. You feel as though you've found true love in those blue eyes, as your skin turns to a smooth creamy substance. You go to wipe off your sweat, and you feel your skin slide off with it. You keep wiping, and keep sweating, untill your face is nothing more then a skull. 93) (Mind Flayers Extraction attack) You feel the slimey tenticles wrap around your scalp. As a sharp, needle like tounge pearces into your skull, the crack of bone echos though the halls. You stuggle to get the tenticles off your head, but every suction is tightly bound to you. You feel a slight tickling sensation as the Flayer licks your brain slowly, and then, instantly, your dead. The Flayers mouth is covered in blood and gray matter, as he stands up, and starts walking towards your allies. |
| Sergikins07-21-06, 10:15 PM | 94) (I'm going to use this one very soon.) The pale white musclar man tosses his giant axe to the side and cracks his knuckles. he grins and bares his pointed vile teeth at you, and you can sense malice in his pupiless eyes. he releases a shrieking roar and leaps straight for you. he runs straight at you, and grabs you by one of the plates on your armor. (Charge + Grapple.) he throws you on the ground (assuming a successful grapple) and kneels down with one knee on your chest. he plunges his sharp canines in your neck and you can feel your very vitality flow out of you. Out of curoisty, would you grant a bonus on grapples made as part of a charge? this guy is a level 8 dread necromancer with the half vamp template and has improved grapple.... so he can suck blood better. Level 8 non fighter, and he has a freaking grapple bonus of +12. could be a +13, but he put the points in charisma so he can have a gaugantuan undead army (80 freaking HD of undead.) |
| bitswordmaker07-21-06, 11:43 PM | Guess I get 95... Alright, I can't give out generics like most of you have been doing, but I can tell you ones I've heard and used... 95) "The Exploding Red Wyrm" One player, way back in 2nd edition, was fighting a Great Red Wyrm. Despite having a crap load of magical kick ass items, he was being pawned. So he whispered "Oh God." It is a house rule around here that if you say that in character, a check is made to see if one answers. He got one, from an annoyed god of Trickery. So, here's what happens. Dm- "The dragon suddenly stops attacking, and gets this strange look in his eyes." PC- "I stop attacking and look up at him." DM- "He seems to have this really uncomfortable look about him." PC- "Ummm.....oookay...." DM- "You notice he starts swellling." PC- "As in?" DM- "As in he's getting bigger, but also rounder." PC- "I'm using my Boots of Speed, and I'm outta here" DM- "Okay, so you're running how long?" PC- "As far away as I can get." DM- "Okay, so you get three miles away, and the dragon blows up. You're buried under the ground by the force of the explosion, and pieces of dragon fly into the dirt all around you, and the strong sense of methane hangs heavy in the air." PC- "Three miles away, and I'm still getting hit with dragon parts?? Whoa.." Note: Rest are 3.0 and 3.5 96) "The Big Strong Guy w/ a Huge Stone Hammer" Alright, so the huge stone on the end of your incredibly long hammer sinks into the head of the orc, and pushes its head out its ass. 97) "The Love of Balefire" DM- "Okay, so you're in the mouth of the Megalodon, and it's bitten off your right arm and left leg. What now?" PC1- "I use what's left of my axe to cling into the roof of the thing's mouth!" PC2 (Me :D)- "What kind of Weavecraft check is required to learn Balefire?" (Mix of houserules and WoT D20 game) DM (distracted)- "On the spot? 95" PC2- "Okay, here's the cards to give me as many bonuses as possible, I still have to roll an elven or higher on the die." (Another house rule... the cards are Christmas presents used through that year in case we really screw up lol) DM (still distracted, tears up the cards)- "Okay. Now (turning to other player), you're going to use your axe to stick into the roof of the ting's mouth? That will be a roll to hit with an AC of 10, and then will require a STR check of 25." PC1- "Okay, I got the roll to hit..." PC2- "I got Balefire! WOOT! (does a little jig)" PC1- "... and the strength check is 30." DM- "Okay, you're firmly stuck in the roof of this thing's mouth. It doesn't like that, and starts swallowing lots of salt water." PC2- "Can I still see this thing?" DM- "The top of it's head, but it'd diving." PC2- "I overchannel all to Hell, and Balefire it's ass!" DM- (sighs heavily) "What's your DC?" PC2- "32" DM- "Well... that's a fail... alright.. soo... PC1 (for sake of anonymousness) you need to make a Reflex save, DC 16." PC1- "18" DM- "Alright, here's what the party sees, a beam of white light flashes from the samurai's (Samurai gestalt with channeler initiate, DM overruling) hand. Fortitude saves, DC 16. Those who don't make it are temporarily blinded, the rest, you have a purple bar burned into your vision for awhile. Now, PC2 you need to make a Concentration check for overchanneling, DC is 45." PC2- "Okay.. got a 32... so I failed by 12. ****! Burnout..." DM- "Your unconscious, and you know the rest of the results. Now, PC2 here's what you see, a blinding flash of white light blasts through creatures head, and out the other end, and it's brain disappears. You have your arm and leg back. You remember them getting ripped off in it's teeth when you tried to get out, but it never happened." Balefire= Destruction back into the timeline. Depending on how powerful the weave is, makes the burnback (as it's called) farther. I destroyed this thing back in the timeline about ten minutes. So ten minutes of it's brain functions, since that's really what I destroyed, didn't happen. |
| InnKeeper07-22-06, 02:20 AM | You swing your flail in circles above your head waiting for the command of the general to kill the slave.... Your eyes pop out of your sockets and loads of blood follows. Seems like you hit yourself in the head stupid! |
| Golden Zealot07-27-06, 06:54 PM | nearly 100! 99) Hit by a composite longbow (+4 Str bonus) You hear an arrow hiss through the air over your head, the sheer force of the shot shattering it into four separate pieces as it strikes the wooden wall. Three sections of the shaft clatter to the floor as the head nearly disappears into the wall. You turn to see a particularly muscular elf with a calm, calculating expression on it's long, slender face whip out another arrow and let it fly. In under half a second the arrow grows a hundred times it's size. You see the arrow head in amazing detail before it sinks into your eye. You feel a bright burning pain for about a milisecond, and then, you die upside down as your corpse is thrown head over heels by the force of the arrow. |
| Piggyfreak607-27-06, 07:22 PM | 100) What looks like childrens toys are all around you. All of a sudden, you see one blink. When you unsheath your sword, they rush at you. Spinning in circles, you slice at each of them, ripping them to shreads, but there are too many. The ones behind you start biting at your ankles, while the ones ahead of you put themselves back together. They start climbing onto your neck as you rush out. Thats when you trip on large spread out pile of marbles. You fall down, splitting open your head and the rag dolls claw open your chest. The last thing you see is a little boy, giggling in the rafters. |
