| Jallis 37004-25-05, 09:57 AM | I think this one, witch was too hillarous to delete, has been deleted... That sucks, cause some of the ideas were so great that I wanted to use them in my campaign. :D As the first poster I allso get the pleasure to start :P 1: A mission to capture the wizard on the high mountain. He has broken the rule that says that "every adventure-sites must contain squared rooms only, for simplicity-purposes" by building a tower with round rooms.... (Long time since I read that one. Gonna use it in my campaign next week. But MAN I suck at telling stories I've heard before...) |
| Emir04-25-05, 10:14 AM | you find that funny ? |
| Jallis 37004-25-05, 10:22 AM | Yeah, well. It was funnier when I red it. But I said that I suck at telling stories I've heard before... I'm at thin ice here... Got something better maybe? Then SMITE ME!! EDIT: Trade "SMITE" with a desperate "HELP!!!" (dunno if I dare post here again) |
| Emir04-25-05, 10:27 AM | don't have anything better. But here's a stupid adven idea: Orcs are attacking the city and you have to stop them |
| Elrana04-25-05, 01:54 PM | Despite the most rigorous of security measures in the castle Chas'titti the Princess's most valuable possession, her Virtue has been taken from her. It can only have been done by one of the King's closest friends. A group who make up a secret society known as The Chocolate Starfish. Only one of them would have been trusted with access to the Princess, and thus the opportunity to take her Virtue. Her Virtue was kept within an adamantine belt, sealed upon her person at all times and her Virtue, a glistening pink diamond just like her mother had before her and her mother before her is the prize promised to the suitor who wins her hand. Access to the princess's pink diamond can only be gained after the suitor has prised apart her belt with his sword, a trying feat which many men fail to accomplish, but when one succeeds he takes not only her Virtue, but by publically announcing the Princess's loss of her Virtue is made her betrothed and the heir to her father's kingdom in a ceremony known as the Sho'tganuued'in. It is your job to access the King's Chocolate Starfish, to penetrate his most intimate circle, and thus discover who took the Princess's Virtue before it is made public that she has lost it. For without it no man of noble blood would consider marriage with her and thus the kingdom will fail to fall to her heir. That would be a pretty silly premise for an adventure. :) |
| REL04-26-05, 01:26 AM | the characters hears of an advenure site and suddenly all other options are blocked, dragon armies to the east, volcanic eruption to the north, a sea to the south. the only reason to go throu the site not to die of old age at the current city, now that I'm thinking about it, just play TOEE, it's the worst. |
| delugeia04-26-05, 01:44 AM | Rescue the good dragon from the evil princess. (stolen) |
| Flushmaster04-26-05, 02:25 AM | An army of evil midgets is attacking. Not halflings, but half sized humans. They are opposed by a small band of really tall warriors (all over 6'2" in height), but these noble defenders are overwhelmed by the sheer numbers of knee bashing midgets. Your party is freed from jail by random catapult ammo knocking the walls down (there was a huge drunken brawl that ended with the party wizard casting a fireball indoors and the next thing you know you're in jail with a heck of a hangover). Fighting your way through the midgets (which are being flung over the city walls by giant slingshots), you meet a small group of tall, wounded soldiers surrounded by dozens of dead midgets. They tell you that the midgets have stolen the pieces of a powerful magical artifact that can be used to conquer the world, and you must stop them. If you can do this, you'll have the eternal appreciation of the world, and you'll also likely be rich if you can manage to loot their treasuries and get off of their home island of Munchkinland. After taking over a midget war schooner after it damages your ship beyond repair, you arrive at Munchkinland. Your group's dwarven cleric is soon wielding a Maul of the Titans that he dubs "Runt Smasher," looted from the hoard of a green dragon that was guarding a stretch of coastline for the midgets, and any combat henceforth includes everyone and everything nearby getting sprayed with midget guts as he squishes them left and right. You are befriended by the Ke'Blar elves (midget elves), who are disgruntled that the evil midgets have blockaded them and won't let them sell their wonderful cookies abroad. In exchange for rescuing their kidnapped king, Iyell Fudj, they launch a series of raids and harrassing attacks on the midget cities, causing enough chaos that you, disguised as midgets via rings of alter self can easily gain entrance into their capital city of Oz. You get there via the Yellow Brick Road, the island's primary highway, sneak into the castle, jump the royal guards, kill the midget emperor, then foil the court wizard, who sends numerous summoned creatures at you from behind a curtain in the corner. I actually ran this campaign, and it was a favorite of my players. It all started one night I was drunk and smacked my head on a low doorway. I began ranting about the evil midget conspiracy and how it dated back to midieval times and the Evil Midget Empire, most information pertaining to it having been lost in the Dark Ages. My friend, to whom I was ranting, found this hilarious and said I should make a D&D adventure from it. So I did. |
